Chemainus Community Gardens
We would like to annouce that 13 garden beds each 4 x 8 are now ready for planting in our new community garden located at 9806 Willow Street. Each bed is $30 which covers the cost of the new bed, water and tools. Come on in to CNHA to purchase your bed for the season.
"Cowichan Neighbourhood House Association is very pleased to announce our partnership with Community Circles Restorative Justice Society. They will be joining us in our building in Unit 4 on Tuesdays, beginning July 8th from 11-3 and as needed. As an introduction, Community Circles Restorative Justice Society is a grassroots, volunteer powered, non-profit society that provides FREE restorative justice and conflict mediation services to individuals, groups and organizations in the Region between Nanaimo and Mill Bay. They are a team of trained volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and bring a wide range of skills and experiences to our work as facilitators and mentors. CCRJS accepts referrals from individuals, community organizations, employers, the RCMP, schools, and all levels of government."
