“Capture the harvest in jars!”
We’re happy to announce our fruit canning class with instructors Marion James. We provide the jars, kitchen, instructor, food, and other materials, while you get to take home what you make! Fruits include blueberries, plumbs, and possibly strawberries if they’re ready.
Canning is an eco friendly and fun way to “capture the harvest” without need for refrigeration.
This class is offered free of charge, but there is a $10 reservation fee that you receive back if you attend. The class includes a light lunch of soup, salad, and snacks.
REGISTER: To reserve your spot, please fill and sign the Registration Form with your (refundable) $10 reservation fee, and bring them to the office (9806 Willow St, Chemainus) or email a scan of the signed version to us (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please note that the seat will not be reserved until the reservation fee is received.
