Let instructor Jamie Schmidt help you gain the confidence and knowledge to create healthy recipes out of fresh ingredients. Four sessions every Wednesdays for 3 hours 12:30-3-30, starting Oct 15 and running every Wed to Nov 5th, 2014.
This is a great class to learn excellent alternatives for low or no sodium and sugar free recipes. Scrumptious meals that you get to take home. Special emphasis on heart & diabetes friendly meals that are easy on the family budget. Courses may include shopping “field trips” and learning about medicine/food interactions.

We need 12 participants to get started; cnhaoffice(at)shaw.ca or (250)-246-3203 to sign up. All workshops at the Old Chemainus Fire Hall in Chemainus (9796 Willow Street). Just give us your full name, which workshop you are interested in, and current contact info.
This class is offered free to any adult in the Cowichan Valley, thanks to BC Gaming Community Grants, to volunteers of the Cowichan Neighbourhood House, and to local businesses and farms.
About the Instructor:
Taught by Jaimie Schmidt (from Healthy Divine Creations). Jamie has held canning, cooking and baking classes based on the idea of creating a healthier lifestyle through being creative in the kitchen. Learn to cook and bake dishes that are flavourful, filled with nutrients, and budget conscious.
